Die-Hards: Will Pitt Benefit from High-Level WPIAL Talent in 2020-21?

Pitt keeping WPIAL talent home and extending offers to local players are two topics that seem to be discussed yearly.

That second question isn’t something that will be asked over the next two years. However, the first question will be very crucial and time will tell just how well Pat Narduzzi does “locking down” this upcoming group of elite talent.

It’s safe and accurate to say that the WPIAL talent in the Classes of 2020 and 2021 is as good as the area has produced in many, many years.

Because of this, Pitt will have a chance to make a statement but more importantly, dramatically increase the talent level on their future depth charts.

Take a look at the amount of players that not only hold Power 5 offers but those from Pitt’s longstanding regional competition in Penn State and West Virginia and other offers coming from major programs.
