Could Jeff Capel be on the verge of offering another nearby recruit?
Moon 2020 guard Donovan Johnson received the offer from Pitt two weeks ago and it appears Capel could be close to doing the same to another rising junior.
Jalen Bridges (6-foot-7, 205 pounds) from Fairmont, West Virginia, tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he’ll travel to Pittsburgh on Friday for an unofficial visit.

From what we’re hearing, Bridges has a very strong chance of receiving that offer from Pitt.
This morning, Bridges told PSN that both Jeff and Jason Capel were in Dallas this past weekend to watch him in game action.
Following his weekend play, Bridges’ stock is very high as West Virginia and TCU plan on visiting this week. He’s also been hearing lately from Virginia, Michigan, Ohio State and Louisville.
At this point, Bridges holds offers from West Virginia, Duquesne, Temple, Xavier, Dayton and Penn State.
Bridges is currently in the Class of 2020 and tells PSN that there’s an 80% chance he’ll be heading to a prep school following this season instead of re-classifying to 2019.
For his size, Bridges has great range on his shot but can also put the ball on court and get to the basket.
