Cross another target off Pitt’s 2019 recruiting board.
Following an official visit there last weekend, forward Olivier Robinson-Nkamhoua has given a commitment to Tennessee.
Robinson-Nkamhoua (6’8”, 210) is a 3-star recruit from Cumberland, Maryland. Yesterday, he made a huge climb in the recruiting rankings jumping nearly 200 points to No. 153 overall.
Aside from Tennessee, Robinson-Nkamhoua was considering Pitt and Illinois.
Ideally, Jeff Capel is looking to add two more bigs to his Class of 2019 but the options are becoming limited.
The top recruit on Pitt’s 2019 recruiting board remains 4-star JUCO center Khadim Sy. Other options for Capel are grad transfers as well as getting a current 2020 player to re-classify to 2019.
It says slot that Capell has gotten Pitt in the running with these talented players. However it seems recruits need to see another year of improvement in the program to really start buying what Capel is selling. Frustrating thing is we need a couple to take that leap of faith first!
