In no order, Hightower listed Pitt, Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa and Cincinnati. Prior to making this list public, Hightower talked to Pittsburgh Sports Now about each school and why they’re a finalist for his services.

Michigan: “The first Power 5 school who offered me so always they’re going to be a special place to me, great coaches and a family vibe.”

Michigan State: “Michigan state was actually the first college who I ever talked to. One of my teammates, Michael Dowell, and his two twin brothers went there so I’m pretty familiar with the organization. All three have said great things about the school.”

Iowa: “I’ve talked to a lot of their coaches and all of them show me a lot of love and can’t wait to get up there.”

Cincinnati: “They’re close to home and I went to a game last year and loved the campus and had a blast at the game.”

Pitt: “Pitt by far have shown me the most love. They keep contact with not only me but also my mom and dad which is great. When I visited there, I loved the campus and great downtown vibe. I have  a good relationship with some coaches and had a great conversation with Head Coach Narduzzi.”
