With his 2019 recruiting all but wrapped up, Keith Dambrot and his staff have their eyes on the Class of 2020.
Today, the Dukes staff hosted a local sharp shooter 2020 shooting guard Jett Roesing (6-foot-4, 170 pounds) from First Love Academy. Duquesne could use an outside shooter which is something Roesing specializes in.

Following his visit this morning, Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with the rising star from First Love Academy.
“Coach Dambrot and his assistants have been to First Love a lot looking at our players,” said Roesing. “After our practices or workouts, Coach Dambrot usually pulls me aside and we talk for awhile. We’ve actually talked a lot in person.”
“I respect Coach Dambrot so much because he’s a living legend. To see the respect he gets from LeBron is unbelievable. I believe he’s a great person and a great coach and really makes me feel comfortable. He seems like a very positive person and gets great energy from his players.”
Today, Roesing spent the morning at Duquesne with their staff and was told about their plans for the future which includes the current renovations to their basketball arena.
“I really love Duquesne after today,” said Roesing. “The city is my hometown. The staff took the whole morning to show me around giving me a tour. They really made me feel like I’m a part of the program already. They took me around to every part of the campus and things went well.”
“At the end of the day, they went through a slide show (of the new arena) and showed the old to the new. I’m in the Class of 2020 so right when if I were to go there, I’d be coming right into the renovations so that would be really nice.”
At this point, Duquesne hasn’t offered Roesing but if they did, he’d obviously have serious interest.
