Parks (6-foot-5, 295 pounds) is ranked as one of the Top 10 offensive tackles and one of the Top 75 overall players in the country.

This elite talent became available after he de-committed from Penn State one week ago.

PSN caught up with Parks this morning to find out about his interest in Pitt and reason for wanting to visit.

”The Pitt coaches said that they would love for me to come down and visit,” he said. “I’m really considering Pitt and they believe that if I go there that I can make an big impact from the start.

“I really don’t know much about Pitt besides their football program but I’m excited to have a chance to learn a lot of things while I’m down there on my official visit. I’ve had so many athletes tell me that Pitt’s atmosphere is lit so I’m glad I’m getting a chance to see for myself.”
