Pitt’s second weekend of official visits begins today and while this week’s group of players won’t be as big as last weekend, it will include more higher profile recruits.
One of those players is 4-star wide receiver Aydin Henningham from Deerfield Beach, Florida.

This playmaking wide receiver holds offers from schools such as Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Henningham’s primary recruiter to Pitt has been Charlie Partridge and this will be his first official visit.
Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Henningham and asked him what he knows about or has heard from Pitt that made him want to make an official visit.
“All the things that Coach Partridge has sent me and all the stuff he’s told me about Pitt made me really like the school. They’ve been high for me for a while now so I decided to take my official there,” said Henningham.
“I talk to Coach Partridge all the time and that’s who been recruiting me. I’ve got a good connection with him and he’s a cool coach.”
Since this will be Henningham’s first trip to Pitt, what will he be looking to find out about the school and football program?
“Since I’ve never been there, I want to know everything basically. I want to know all the information that they can tell me.”
Although he can play both cornerback and wide receiver, Henningham says that Pitt wants him as a wide receiver. Henningham is one of the top wideouts on Pitt’s recruiting board.
Don’t they need a QB to throw to a WR? Not sure we got the right one throwing the ball.
