Jeff Capel hosted a major recruit with a familiar name.
A source tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that Moon guard Donovan Johnson along with his older brother Cameron were at The Pete today meeting with the Pitt staff.
The Johnson brothers spent the afternoon with Capel as Donovan made an unofficial visit. Cameron is back in town preparing for tomorrow night’s NBA Draft. Many recent mock drafts have him getting selected in the 1st round of the NBA Draft.
Donovan, who’s been in the news lately in regards to his high school eligibility, talked with and continued to strengthen his relationship with Capel.
Johnson is someone that Capel wants to land.
Is there a chance he could reclassify and join the 2019 class? Or is he likely to go to a prep school? I would love to see him playing for us!
