Former Pitt running back Darrin Hall has a new home as today he was claimed off waivers by the Green Bay.
Following the NFL Draft, Hall signed as a undrafted free agent by Cleveland and then was claimed off waivers by the Bengals.
Hall joins a Packers backfield that will have plenty of competition. On Friday, Green Bay signed Corey Grant and also have Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Dexter Williams and Tra Carson on the depth chart.
Last season for Pitt, Hall rushed for 1,114, 7.5 yards per carry, 10 touchdowns and led the ACC in yards after contact.
Hall will wear No. 34 with the Packers.
