They still have some work to do when it comes to landing them, but Pitt has made the cut for yet another elite prospect in the Class of 2020.
Four-star forward Jalen Bridges announced on Monday that Jeff Capel’s program is one of his finalists. Elite four-star Earl Timberlake announced on Sunday that Pitt was one of his final seven.
Bridges (6-foot-7, 185p pounds), who’s rated as one of the Top 100 rising seniors, has a final list of Alabama, Indiana, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Miami, Texas A&M, West Virginia, USC and Xavier.
Pittsburgh Sports Now talked to Bridges prior to his announcement and asked the main reason that Pitt made the cut.
”I have a strong relationship with the Capel brothers,” said Bridges.
It should be mentioned that Bridges now attends Scotland Performance Institute, the same school that incoming Pitt freshmen Karim Coulibaly attended last year.
