Pitt All 105: DL David Green

Published

on

All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2019 training camp roster.

2 • David Green, redshirt freshman DL

Last year: Redshirted as a true freshman and did not see any game action.

Stats: N/A

Accolades, Highlights: Was named all-state and to the Post-Gazette’s Fabulous 22 coming out of Central Catholic High School.

Camp outlook: Pitt used six defensive tackles in 2018, and one graduated and one moved to offensive line, so Green appears to be in the mix to pick up some playing time.

Projected role: Playing time will be dominated by upperclassmen Keyshon Camp and Amir Watts and redshirt sophomore Jaylen Twyman. Devin Danielson seems to be ahead of Green for the final spot on the two-deep, but he should still be on the travel roster.
