Aliquippa’s Zuriah Fisher Down To Final Two Schools

Published

One of the top defensive players in Pennsylvania is down to two schools and will announce his college decision on Monday.

Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that on Monday, Aliquippa star linebacker Zuriah Fisher is down to two schools and will be deciding between Michigan State and Penn State.

Fisher (6’3″, 255) held an impressive offer list from schools such as Pitt, Boston College, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, NC State, Purdue, Syracuse, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and West Virginia but in the end will pick either Penn State or Michigan State.

Penn State is a place that Fisher has visited multiple times and received a lot of attention from Terry Smith, Penn State’s WPIAL recruiter. Fisher made an official visit to  East Lansing back on June 21st and they were one of the first Power Five programs to offer him.

Although he’s being recruited to play linebacker, Fisher has the size and athletic ability to move down and play defensive tackle at the next level and that could end up being his future position.

There’s strong speculation that Fisher will end up picking Penn State but we’ll officially find out on Monday.

What we do know is that his decision will come down to one of those two Big 10 programs.
