Last year: Played in 13 games, mostly at defensive end and on special teams. Has also played defensive tackle in the past.
Stats: Made five tackles and one tackle for a loss.

Camp outlook: Pitt is deep at defensive tackle, but less so at end, and Alexandre will focus on outside work this fall as the Panthers look to replaced graduated ends James Folston and Dewayne Hendrix.
Projected role: Alexandre is the only end beyond starters Patrick Jones II and Rashad Weaver that has any experience and should be a solid No. 3 at the position.
