Camp outlook: Almost everything is new for the Pitt offense under Mark Whipple, except for Pickett, who remains as the top passer. He’ll have to help with the new install and make sure he and Pitt’s receivers are on the same page.
Projected role: Pickett will almost assuredly start the season as Pitt’s No. 1 quarterback, but with a new offense and a new offensive coordinator, he’ll have to continue to prove he belongs in the role.
