Die-Hards: Grading and Reviewing Pat Narduzzi’s First Pitt Recruiting Class

Published

on

Following each recruiting class, fans and recruiting analysts always attempt to grade and evaluate a programs recruiting class. While it might be a fun thing to do, the reality is no one can properly evaluate until the end of those players time with the team.

The Class of 2015 was Pat Narduzzi’s first recruiting class with the Panthers but the Class of 2016 was really his first real one. He didn’t take over at Pitt until December 26, 2014 and while he did sign a few of his own recruits, his main job that year was to hold onto players that had already committed to former head coach Paul Chryst.

Pitt’s Class of 2016 was the first one that was completely recruited by Narduzzi and his assistants. This was a big one for Pitt because of it’s size, as 24 players signed with the Pitt program.

We’re going to look back at the players that signed and see who’s still here, how they’re doing and give this group of players an overall grade.
