Pitt Volleyball’s Kylee Levers Out For The Season

The Pitt volleyball team will have to overcome some adversity as they received major injury news Thursday night.

Redshirt junior setter Kylee Levers will miss the upcoming season after suffering a torn ACL during practice today.

Levers, who’s from Washington, PA, helped secure the team’s conference leading mark of 13.78 assists per set, ranking fifth in the nation.

“Our hearts go out to Kylee, and we share in her disappointment,” said head coach Dan Fisher. “She is an incredible player and wonderful person. We know that she will come back from this stronger than ever.”

Pitt will start the season ranked #12 and open the season at Fitzgerald Field House with the Panther Challenge against Cleveland State, Cincinnati and South Carolina On August 30-31.
