All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2019 training camp roster.
11 • Taysir Mack, redshirt junior wide receiver
Last year: Transferred from Indiana to Pitt and got an NCAA waiver for immediate eligibility. Started seven games and played in 12 games, missing two with an injury.
Stats: Made 25 catches for 557 yards, which led the team. Had one touchdown.
Camp outlook: Of all of Pitt’s receivers, Mack showed the most ability in 2018 and has the most to gain with a new offensive coordinator in 2019. But it’s a deep group and targets won’t be guaranteed.
Projected role: Mack will almost definitely start, along with Maurice Ffrench. The other spots will be up for grabs, as will the percentage of targets, during what should be a competitive camp.
