Aliquippa 2020 3-star defensive end Zuriah Fisher intended to make his college decision at the beginning of August but ended up delaying that decision and now we know why.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that Fisher (6’3”, 250) is now considering two additional teams: West Virginia and Texas A&M. Originally, he had narrowed his long list of offers down to Penn State and Michigan State but now has changed those plans.
Fisher has already visited Michigan State, Penn State and West Virginia so we’ll have to see if he schedules a visit to Jimbo Fisher’s program.
Considering the success West Virginia has had recently recruiting Aliquippa High School, it’s no surprise that Fisher still has the Mountaineers under consideration.
Here’s what Fisher had to say when we talked to him earlier this year for our “Recruiting the WPIAL” series.
Did Pitt stop recruiting him due to other commits?
If no, why no Pitt on his final list?
For whatever reason, they never really developed any traction with him.
Great question–Why not Pitt??
ever since the rushel shell stuff that went down at pitt, pitt isnt well thought of in the beaver valley
