Could they be adding a fifth?

Friday night, Ohio 4-star offensive tackle Branson Taylor tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he’ll be announcing his college decision and will choose between Pitt and West Virginia. Taylor (6’6″, 290) was part of the big group of players that made their official visit to Pitt during the weekend of June 14-16.

PSN is told that Taylor has a scrimmage Friday night at 7 PM and will announce his decision after that.

With 16 commitments in their Class of 2020 and not much room left for additional scholarships, adding a lineman or two is a top priority for Pitt. At this point, the only offensive lineman in Pitt’s current class is Michael Statham (6’7″, 340) from Baltimore, Maryland.

Before deciding on Pitt and West Virginia, Taylor also held offers from Michigan State, Purdue, Tennessee, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Missouri, Rutgers and Syracuse.

Although Pitt is Taylor’s only official visit taken, he did recently make an unofficial visit to Morgantown where he saw and heard enough to put them in his final two.
