**2020 3-star forward Elijah Taylor will make an official visit this weekend to Seton Hall. The Philadelphia native is scheduled to make an official to Pitt in the middle of September.

ESPN’s Bill Connelly, formerly of Bleacher Report, has come out with his latest SP+ ratings for all 130 FBS schools. His system has Pitt ranked at number 60, one spot behind Duke. Pitt’s opening day opponent, Virginia comes in at number 38.
More from ESPN includes some bowl projections from Mark Schlabach and Kyle Bonagura. Schlabach has the Panthers facing off against the Tennessee Vols in the Music City Bowl and Bonagura has Pitt taking on UAB in the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana.
