Expanding Die-Hards

As we settle into another year of Pitt football coverage, with football and basketball recruiting kicking back into high gear, we’ve made the decision to up our Die-Hards output.

Yes Die-Hards subscribers, we hear you. You want more. You deserve more. That’s why from now on, most of our in-depth Pitt basketball and football recruiting articles and interviews will be, at least initially, only for our Die-Hards subscribers. All of our game coverage across all the institutions we cover will remain free, as well as our analysis, interviews, and day-to-day news.

Some of our recruiting articles will start out initially just for our Die-Hards and then be released free for general public consumption. We also plan on using our forums more to release breaking news, even before the story hits our website.

We want to reiterate that we’re not going to be abandoning our regular website visitors. But we also want to reward our dedicated “Die-Hards” for their membership and support. To those ends, you can expect at least one Die-Hards article per day. We’re also looking into adding new writers and analysts to the staff so that we can continue to grow and offer both Die-Hards and our regular visitors the very best coverage of Pitt football and basketball in the city country world.
