Duquesne Basketball Recruiting

Keith Dambrot Keeping Busy on the Recruiting Trail in Coming Weeks

In today’s era of college basketball, with the prevalence of transfers, a coach can never predict or be certain what his team’s roster will look like down the road.

With that in mind, despite not technically having any roster room for next season, Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot will continue recruiting players for the Class of 2020.

With the live recruiting period starting today, Dambrot and his staff will be very busy looking at seniors, juniors and even sophomores.

PSN has learned of some players that the Dukes staff will be watching and recruiting over the next couple of weeks.

**Jett Roesing, SG, First Love Academy: 2020 Duquesne commitment.

**Trey Robinson, 2020 SF, Hamilton, Ohio: Holds offer from Duquesne and is a big priority for them. I’m told that Robinson will make an official visit this coming weekend.

**Andre Harris, 2020 PF (6’7”, 250), Mesa, Arizona: Another player that Duquesne feels has a high ceiling and is very much a high priority for Dambrot. Harris also holds offers from TCU, Washington State and New Mexico.

**Tyson Acuff, 2020 CG (6’2”, 175), Detroit, Michigan: A 3-star recruit from an area Duquesne recruits heavily due to the connections of assistant Charles Thomas. Acuff holds offers from Buffalo, Siena and Central Michigan.

**Tyrese Hughley, 2021 SF, Worthington, Ohio: Has already received an early offer from Duquesne.

**Pierre Brooks, 2021 SF, Detroit, Michigan: Brooks is ranked as a Top 110 player in the Class of 2021 with offers from Duquesne, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan State, Missouri, Northwestern and Xavier.

**Jaden Akins, 2021 SF, Farmington, Michigan: Another talented player from Michigan with early offers from Duquesne, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri and Xavier.

**Peter Suder, 2022 Shooting Guard, Carmel, Indiana.
