Keith Dambrot made a recruiting trip out West on Thursday.

Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that Dambrot traveled out to Arizona in order to see 2020 power forward Andre Harris (6’8”, 230) from Hillcrest Academy in Phoenix, Arizona.

Duquesne basketball on Pittsburgh Sports Now is sponsored by The Summit Academy: setting young men on the path to a better future.

The competition for Harris increased this week and Dambrot is working on trying to get an official visit from this talented forward. Earlier this week, Harris received an offer from Patrick Ewing and Georgetown.

Aside from the Hoyas and the Dukes, Harris holds offers from TCU, Washington State, New Mexico and Montana.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

Harris isn’t the only 2020 prospect that the Duquesne staff is recruiting heavily in order to get an official visit.

2020 point guard Tyson Acuff (6’3”, 170) from Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan is another player that the Dukes have serious interest in.

Acuff currently holds offers from Duquesne, UMass, Buffalo, Toledo, Central Michigan, Detroit and Siena.
