PITTSBURGH — Pitt’s bye week appears to have come at a pretty good time for the Panthers.
After a 4-2 start to the season, the Panthers will stay home this weekend before traveling to Syracuse for a Friday night game next week.
Pitt’s last two game were tight ones, and part of the reason for that could have been that Pat Narduzzi’s crew wasn’t playing with a full deck.
Quarterback Kenny Pickett, running backs A.J. and Vincent Davis, linebacker Chase Pine, cornerback Jason Pinnock missed all or part of the last two weeks, and they were all back at practice during the team’s bye week on Thursday.
That’s a huge positive for the Panthers as they head into the home stretch of the ACC schedule.
SIGHTS AND SOUNDS
Vincent Davis still has a cast on his right wrist, but that didn’t stop him from participating in team drills. More in the sights and sounds:
Ohio, Delaware, UCF, Duke.
Hail to Pitt!
4-2.
