Twitter Reaction To Pitt’s Disappointing Loss To Miami

The saying goes that you win as a team and you lose as a team which was certainly the case today with Pitt as they lose a disappointing game to Miami, 16-12.

The loss essentially kills Pitt’s chances of repeating as ACC Coastal champions.

As you can imagine the reaction to this loss on Twitter is strong.

So Narduzzi gets blasted for what happened at PSU, doesn't admit to being wrong and basically does the same thing today. An aggressive defense doesn't matter if you refuse to do the same with your offense in key spots late. 😑

The reason Pitt only has 40,000 people come and watch a 5-2 team on homecoming against a name like Miami is because for 20 years this is what Pitt football has done. A chance to FINALLY turn the corner as a program and has a let down against an inferior opponent. Same old story

I think Whipple has something in his eye, all game long. Three runs up the middle to ice the game. That’s as weak as it gets. Play to win, not play to not lose. Pickett had happy feet and can’t read a D to save his life. Need a solid JUCO TE..86 has only two fingers on each hand

If you didn't expect this result, you really haven't followed Pitt football for very long. If you aren't really, really talented you need to be super aggressive at all times in today's college game. Pitt will never learn this and things will never change.

#Canes Mark Whipple finally got Miami a solid road victory. Rather than be aggressive, he called 3 vanilla runs for Pitt giving Miami the ball back for their game winning drive. He coached not to lose at Miami and sucked. Now he’s continuing his craft at Pitt. Junk is still junk
