PITTSBURGH — Pitt finally got a dominant performance in the 2019-20 season, beating Arkansas-Pine Bluff by 25 points.
“It’s good to win two games in a row,” head coach Jeff Capel said. “I thought we did some good things.”
But the Panthers weren’t satisfied with just running up the score against an inferior opponent. When Capel was asked about Justin Champagnie, who had a career-high 18 points, he was measured in his response.
“We want more from him,” Capel said. “We’re gonna be hard on him, because we think he can do more.”
