Die-Hards: Where Will Pitt Football Receive Their Next Few Commitments?

Published

on

With National Signing Day just 12 days away and official visits starting this weekend, one of the big questions is how will Pitt fill out the remaining spots in their Class of 2020?

Pitt currently has 16 verbal commitments but the situations with four-star running back Henry Parrish and defensive tackle Tim Brown are very much in question, so they really only have 14 committed players that seem likely to sign on signing day.

As far as the current position breakdown, it looks like this:

Quarterback: 0
Running Backs: 1 (Isreal Abanikanda)
Wide Receivers: 3 (Aydin Henningham, Jordan Addison, Jaylon Barden)
Tight Ends: 0
Offensive Lineman: 2 (Branson Taylor, Michael Statham)
Defensive Ends: 3 (Emmanuel Belgrave, Sam Williams, Dayon Hayes)
Defensive Tackles: 0
Linebackers: 3 (AJ Roberts, Solomon Deshields, Bangally Kamara)
Defensive Backs: 2 (Hunter Sellers, Jahvante Royal)

What positions will Pat Narduzzi look to fill with his handful of remaining scholarships and who are most likely to give Pitt a commitment?
