Here’s some recruiting information that I was able to dig up last night. I’m in touch with other players and hope to add to this once I learn more.

🐾🐾Let’s start off with Georgia quarterback Tate Rodemaker who received a new offer on Monday from Baylor. This is an interesting offer because Rodemaker has been in touch with the Baylor staff for months and threw for them on an unofficial visit. However, Rodemaker tells me that he still plans on making his last official visit this comfort weekend to Northwestern. The race for this talented player will come down to Pitt, Northwestern, South Florida, Virginia Tech and Baylor.

🐾🐾Pitt is officially out on two players they’ve been trying to flip. Both tight end Carter Boatwright and offensive lineman Zane Herring tell me that they will be sticking with their commitment to Florida State. Both were on the fence but after talking with new head coach Mike Norvell, they will sign sign Florida State in two weeks.

🐾🐾With Boatwright out, that leaves Texas 3-star tight end Allen Horace as Pitt’s top target. I talked with him yesterday and Horace told me that because of basketball, he won’t be able to visit Pitt until February. Pitt was hoping to get him up here this month but that won’t be happening.

🐾🐾Interesting visit today as I’m told Mark Whipple will be in Kennesaw, Georgia to visit with 2020 tight end Jackson Manning. Over the weekend, Manning (6’5”, 240) will make an official visit this weekend to UMass, Whipple’s former team.

🐾🐾More tight end news and it concerns Noah Patty from Fort Worth, Texas. Patty will be making an official visit to Pitt this weekend but tells PSN that he doesn’t plan to make his college choice until February. At this point, Patty doesn’t have an offer from Pitt but that could change this weekend.

🐾🐾A couple of 2020 recruits to keep an eye: 3-star linebacker Kobe Myers from Blairstown, New Jersey tells me that Tim Salem is scheduled to visit him next Monday. Myers doesn’t have a Pitt offer yet but would like one.

Another player is cornerback Konata Mumpfield from Dacula, Georgia. Mumpfield has been in contact with Archie Collins and tells me he’s in the process of setting up a visit to Pitt.

🐾🐾PSN has been told that Thursday Florida 3-star safety Derek Bermudez will be getting a visit from a trio of Pitt coaches. The former Florida State commitment will have an in-home visit with Pat Narduzzi, Archie Collins and Cory Sanders. Bermudez is someone Pitt is pursuing heavily and could be someone that could get early playing time at safety.
