As soon as Tate Rodemaker decided to schedule an official visit to Florida State the day after receiving an offer from them, you figured they were the clear cut team to beat.
That turned out to be the case as Rodemaker ended his official visit by making a commitment to the Seminoles program.
New head coach Mike Norvell was familiar with Rodemaker after having recruited him while at Memphis and immediately made him his top quarterback priority.
Rodemaker’s recruiting profile skyrocketed over the past couple months as he received offers from Pitt, Virginia Tech, Baylor, Northwestern and eventfully Florida State.
This situation resembles Pitt basketball’s recruitment of 4-star point guard R.J. Davis as the Panthers were viewed as the front-runners to land him until North Carolina offered.
Since he was the only quarterback Pitt was actively recruiting, it remains to be seen if they attempt to add a quarterback during the February signing period.
This is like the girl you had a crush on and didnt even need to buy her dinner. An easy get for FSU.
