Junior Marcus Weathers has been a major part of Duquesne’s early season success and a reason for the Dukes (9-0) remaining one of only four undefeated teams in college basketball.
Weathers recent performance on the court was recognized today as he was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week. In games last week against Columbia and Radford, Weathers averaged 17.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.
Duquesne basketball on Pittsburgh Sports Now is sponsored by The Summit Academy: setting young men on the path to a better future.

The 6’5″ forward had a career day on Saturday as he equaled a previous career-high of 19 points and set a new career-high in rebounds with 13.
This is the first A-10 award for Weathers and he becomes the second consecutive Dukes player to win A-10 Player of the Week as Mike Hughes was awarded with it last week.
Duquesne next game is this Saturday as they take on Austin Peay in the first of two games at the St. Pete Shootout in St. Petersburg, Florida.
