Pitt has signed four-star wide receiver Jordan Addison, completing their expected additions for the Class of 2020 early signing period.
Addison, a 5-foot-10, 161-pound receiver from Frederick, Maryland, is a consensus four-star prospect, the No. 45 wide receiver in the country and the No. 13 player in his state, according to 247 Sports’ composite rankings.
Pitt held on to Addison, who committed to the Panthers in June, even after a late visit to nearby Maryland just before signing day.
He chose Pitt over offers from Maryland, Michigan, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. Wide receivers coach Chris Beatty was the primary recruiter for Addison.
Addison joins fellow four-star wide receiver Jaylon Barden and three-star Aydin Henningham in Pitt’s Class of 2020.
With the signing of Addison, Pitt now has signed 19 players in its Class of 2020, with 17 freshman joined by one junior college transfer and one graduate transfer.
