Volunteer assistant coach Conor Youtsey, a two-time All American at the University of Michigan, has left the Pitt wrestling program in order to pursue a career outside of wrestling.
Youtsey has accepted a position at a clothing company called State and Liberty, and is moving back to his native Michigan.
Pitt wrestling coverage on Pittsburgh Sports Now is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Wrestling Club.

From head coach Keith Gavin: “Conor is friends with the owner of the company from his University of Michigan days and was offered a pretty good opportunity. We’ll definitely miss Conor but we are very confident we will be able to fill his position with a great candidate. We will most likely wait until the offseason to hire someone.”
Youtsey wrestled 125 at Michigan and primarily worked with the lightweights at Pitt. He also ran the Pittsburgh Wrestling Club and was instrumental in the operations of the Pittsburgh RTC. He was hired June 2nd, 2017 by Gavin, and coached at Pitt for 2.5 seasons.
