Published

on

Duquesne has received 13 vote points in Monday’s Associated Press Top 25, the Dukes’ fourth week of receiving votes this season.

The 13 points have Duquesne tied with Creighton and Virginia for 12th amongst others receiving votes.

At 5-0 in conference play, Duquesne is tied with Dayton for first place in the Atlantic 10 conference. The Dukes’ 15-2 overall record is one-half game behind Dayton for the best overall mark amongst A10 teams. The Flyers are the only ranked A10 team, coming in at No. 7.

The AP votes are more favorable to the Dukes than scientific methodology. The NCAA’s NET Rating has them ranked No. 55 and KenPom.com has the Dukes No. 80 in adjusted efficiency.

This week, the Dukes will head north for a two-game road swing at Rhode Island on Wednesday, Jan. 22 and at UMass on Saturday, Jan. 25
