Pitt football is off to a fast start in terms of their recruiting for their Class of 2021 as 3-star safety Javon McIntyre became their third commitment.
Aside from getting their third quality recruit, it was also already their second from Pennsylvania. This is noteworthy because in their last two recruiting cycles, they’ve gotten a total of five players from their home state (four in 2019 and one in 2020).
Since taking over at Pitt, the most Pennsylvania recruits that Pat Narduzzi has landed in a single year was seven back in 2016.
With two already in the fold, could Pitt challenge that number this year?
