Erie 4-Star Wing Will Jeffress Making Unofficial Visit To Pitt

Aside from trying to win an ACC game today, Jeff Capel will also be hosting one of the program‘s top targets.

Erie McDowell 2021 4-star wing Will Jeffress and his family will be visiting today for Pitt’s game against Miami. As we’ve been reporting, Jeffress is a top priority for Pitt and a serious candidate to reclassify to the Class of 2020.

Jeffress (6’7″, 195) currently holds offers from Pitt, Baylor, Memphis, Stanford, Penn State and is in the process of deciding on official visits but we’re told that Pitt and Baylor will definitely be receiving them.

Jeffress is a national recruit as he’s currently ranked as a Top 50 junior and is someone that Capel believes could be a huge piece in his rebuild of the Panther program. Being only 16 years old and with his body and game still developing it’s early to project a position for him but right now Jeffress looks to be a natural “3” in any team’s offense.

This a big day for Pitt as they’re able to get both Jeffress and his parents on campus for a visit.

They clearly showcased how inept their offense is and how much he’s needed.

Looks like his dad is rocking some gear circa early 2000s. Not like he picked it up at the visit or was given it for the visit. He must be a fan, or alum? That’s a good sign!
