Erie McDowell 2021 4-star recruit Will Jeffress isn’t the only recruit attending today’s game at The Pete vs. Miami as three local players are in attendance.
2021 center Madior Seye, 2022 point guard Mason Manning and 2022 shooting guard DJ Jackson from First Love Academy are all making unofficial visits.
The big name of that trio is Manning (6’1″, 170) as he’s someone that’s rising quickly up the recruiting boards as he transferred this year to First Love from his hometown of Jackson, Mississippi. The 3-star guard already holds offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Baylor, TCU, South Florida and is getting interest from both Virginia and West Virginia.
Seye is intriguing because he’s a 7’0″ center from Senegal who’s game is still developing. Currently, he holds offers from both Dayton and Monmouth but is someone that Capel and his staff have been in contact since his hiring last year.
Jackson arrived at First Love Academy from Canada and plays for UPlay on the AAU circuit. He can play at point guard or at shooting guard and many believe he has lots of potential because of his passing ability and his versatility on offense and defense.
