Update, 11:00 AM:

Pitt has signed another walk-on from Central Catholic, as lineman Matt Altsman has joined Gus Sunseri as Vikings to join the Panthers in this cycle.

Altsman had FCS offers to Howard, San Diego and Valparaiso.

Update, 10:35 AM:

That’s a wrap, as Pat Narduzzi and company have put a bow on the recruiting Class of 2020 with two additions today. We’ll be talking with some of the early enrollees in about an hour, followed by Narduzzi and new strength and conditioning coach Michael Stacchiotti.

Update, 10:30 AM:

Pitt has landed another signing day difference maker in four-star Georgia cornerback Rashad Battle. PSN’s Mike Vukovcan has more:

Update, 9:30 AM:

While signing day is traditionally about scholarship players, walk-ons can sign as well, which will allow their schools to publicize their commitments.

That’s what Central Catholic quarterback and defensive back Gus Sunsrri did at his high school this morning.

Update, 8:00 AM:

Here’s Sauls’ highlights from Pitt.

Update, 7:45 AM: Sauls Has submitted his paperwork and is officially a Panther. Sals was first committed to Boston College and Iowa State, but after Pitt made a late offer, he decided to flip to the Panthers.

A native of Tipp City, Ohio, Sauls is rated as a consensus to start prospect, though that is not uncommon for specialists. He also had offers to Arkansas and Georgia Tech.

We are not expecting a particularly busy day for Pitt on this second national letter of intent signing day in the Class of 2020.

Ohio kicker Ben Sauls committed to the Panthers late on Tuesday night, and he should be submitting his paperwork at some point this morning. Additionally, Georgia corner Rashad Battle is making his decision at about 10 a.m.

Battle, a former Maryland commit, is deciding between Pitt, NC State and Virginia Tech.

After that, Pitt’s signing day press conference will start at 11:30 a.m., when the Panthers’ early enrollees will speak to the media, followed by a head coach Pat Narduzzi and new strength and conditioning coach Michael Stacchiotti.
