Pitt baseball’s 2020 Atlantic Coast Conference opener and home game against Penn State will be two of four nationally televised games during the upcoming season and five games televised overall.
The Panthers’ ACC opener at No. 7 Miami on Friday, March 6 will be televised on ACC Network, with first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m.
Home non-conference games against Kent State on Wednesday, March. 18 at 4 p.m. and Penn State on Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. will also be shown on ACC Network.
Pitt will also be on ACC Network on Thursday, April 9, when the Panthers host Boston College at Charles L. Cost Field. Pitt’s game on May 9 against North Carolina will be broadcast on AT&T Sportsnet Pittsburgh.
The rest of Pitt’s conference games will be on ACC Network Extra, the conference’s dedicated streaming service through ESPN and the ESPN app.
Pitt starts its season on Friday, Feb. 14 with a doubleheader against Indiana State and St. Joseph’s in Port Charlotte, Florida. The Panthers’ first home date is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3 against Youngstown State, with a 3 p.m. first pitch at Cost Field.
Pitt will play Penn State twice, visiting the Nittany Lions at University Park on March 24, and West Virginia three times, with a home game on March 31, a neutral site game at PNC Park on April 29 and a trip
