Rivals Ranks McDowell’s Will Jeffress No. 75 in 2020

McDowell forward Will Jeffress has officially reclassified to the Class of 2020, and one national scouting service has rated him as a top prospect in that class.

Rivals has maintained Jeffress’ four-star rating and slotted him as the No. 75 player in the Class of 2020.

That would make the 6-foot-7 forward Pitt’s highest-rated recruit in the class if he eventually commits to the Panthers.

That would also make him Pitt’s top recruit under Capel. Gerald Drumgoole was Pitt’s highest-rated player in the Class of 2019 at No. 136. Trey McGowens was the No. 83 player in 2018. Pitt’s last recruit to be rated higher than No. 75 was Steven Adams back in 2012, who was the No. 5 player in the country.

All of those figures are according to Rivals. ESPN and 247 Sports have not updated their rankings to reflect Jeffress’ reclassification at this time.

McDowell will finish its regular season at Kennedy Catholic on Tuesday night.
