For the second time this month, a local player is visiting Pitt.
First Love Academy 2022 3-star point guard Mason Manning is making an unofficial visit to attend Pitt’s game tonight against Clemson. Back on February 2, Manning was in attendance for the Panthers game against Miami, Fla.
At this point, Manning doesn’t have an offer from Pitt but they’ve kept steady communication with him and is his main recruiter at Pitt has been Jason Capel.
The sophomore point guard, who’s originally from Jackson, Mississippi, holds offers from LSU, Mississippi, Baylor, TCU and South Florida.
Pitt already has a 2022 commitment from 4-star shooting guard Jalen Hood-Schifinio.
