WPIAL 2020 Girls Basketball Brackets Revealed

The 2020 WPIAL girls basketball playoff brackets have been released, as the teams work toward the 2020 WPIAL Championships, which will be held Feb. 27-29 at Petersen Events Center.

In Class-6A, Bethel Park, Fox Chapel, Mt. Lebanon, Seneca Valley, North Allegheny, Baldwin, Norwin and Upper St. Clair will compete in an eight-team bracket beginning with four games on Feb. 21.

In Class-5A, Chartiers Valley, Oakland Catholic, Trinity and Woodland Hills received byes. First-round play starts Tuesday, Feb. 18.

In Class-4A, Blackhawk, Central Valley, North Catholic and Southmoreland qualified directly into the quarterfinals. First-round play starts on Monday, Feb. 17.

In Class-3A, Beaver, Carlynton, Mohawk and South Park will skip the first round, which starts on Wednesday, Feb. 19.

In Class-2A, Bishop Canevin, Laurel, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and Serra Catholic earned byes, while the first-round matchups will tip on Friday, Feb. 14.

In Class-A, Greensburg Central Catholic, Rochester, Vincentian Academy and West Greene bypassed the opening round, which starts on Tuesday, Feb. 18
