Poll: Progress for Pitt Basketball This Season?

Published

on

The Pitt men’s basketball team finished up their regular season last night with a 73-57 loss at Georgia Tech. With that loss, the Panthers have now lost seven games in a row and 10 of their last 12 games.

Following their win over Miami, it looked as though Pitt was primed to make a big jump from their win total from last season but that isn’t going to happen. Last season, Pitt won a total of 14 games and heading into the ACC Tournament this year, they have 15 wins, just a one game improvement.

Players like Justin Champagnie and Au’Diese Toney have been productive players all season but the same can’t be said for some of the key members of the roster.

Our question for you is do you believe Pitt has made noticeable progress from last season?

Two true freshmen and one high school senior lead the team. I predicted five years before we completely flush KS from the Pitt system. Barnes can rot in ….

So, over 50 per cent believe the team has stayed the same or gotten worse. Sad. To me the team has definitely improved. The wins are going to come next year.
