Poll: Most Heartbreaking Pitt Basketball March Madness Loss

It’s heartbreaking to college basketball fans that we won’t have a March Madness this season due to the coronavirus outbreak. It’s a time that even non-basketball fans enjoyed watching due to the excitement of the games and filling out their March Madness brackets.

Pitt’s season ended on Thursday with a loss to NC State and with a record of 16-17, the Panthers weren’t heading to the postseason anyway.

But depending on who the Panthers are able to add and who decides to leave, Pitt will have a realistic chance next season to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016.

Unfortunately for Pitt and their fans, most of their memories when in comes to March Madness are ones of heartbreak and disappointment. In their 26 NCAA Tournament appearances, Pitt has an all-time record of 24-27.

Considering we’re going through a period of no sports and to bring back some March Madness memories, here’s our PSN Poll Question.
