Virginia to Pitt could be becoming a thing.
Virginia Beach athlete Myles Alston put Virginia in his top seven on Thursday night, one day after Virginia outside linebacker Trevion Stevenson. became the second Virginia native to commit to Pitt in the Class of 2021.

Alston, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound, three-star prospect from Ocean Lakes High School, included the Panthers along with Appalachian State, Liberty, Maryland, Ole Miss, Virginia and Wake Forest.
He dropped offers from Air Force, Charlotte, East Carolina, UMass, Navy, North Carolina, Old Dominion, South Carolina, Temple, and Virginia Tech from consideration.
Alston played cornerback and wide receiver at Ocean Lakes in 2019.
Fellow Hampton Roads area athlete Rodney Hammond was the second player to commit in Pitt’s Class of 2021, giving Virginia area recruiter Chris Beatty two of prospects to his credit in Pitt’s first six commitments. Alston and Hammond visited Pitt together back in January.
