Decision Day for Erie 2020 4-Star William Jeffress

BREAKING NEWS: Jeffress has commited to Pitt.

William Jeffress has been a player Pittsburgh Sports Now has regularly been writing about since January as Jeff Capel made him a priority on their recruiting board.

This morning, Capel and the rest of the country will find out where this elite talent plans on attending college. Jeffress will make his college decision this morning at 11 a.m. as he’ll decide between Pitt, Baylor, Memphis, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Villanova.

Jeffress (6’7”, 200) is the top ranked player in Pennsylvania and a top 50 national player according to 247 Sports.

After getting hired at Pitt, Jeffress was one of the first players that Capel offered and he’s been recruiting him heavily ever since. Although he’s still young–only 16 years old–the potential is there for him to be the type player you can build a program around.  The addition of Jeffress and a 4-star center would give Capel two big pieces to build around.

Many people will have their eyes on social media this morning to see Jeffress final decision. Will he be another addition to the #ZooEra?
