Andy Toole has never been afraid of challenging his team, as Robert Morris has annually played one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country. It appears as though that trend will continue once again this upcoming basketball season.
The Colonials already have a game scheduled to be played in Morgantown where they’ll take on Bob Huggins’ WVU Mountaineers, who’ll be a preseason nationally ranked team. Now, we’ve learned that Robert Morris will travel to one of the top programs in the Big 10 conference.
Inside The Hall is reporting that Robert Morris will travel to famed Assembly Hall to take on Archie Miller’s Indiana Hoosiers. That game will take place on December 22. According to this report, Robert Morris will receive $92,500 for playing the game.
This past season, Robert Morris played teams such as Pitt, Notre Dame, Marshall, Marquette and UNLV as part of their non-conference schedule.
