Despite having already received 16 commitments and 4 from offensive lineman, Pitt is still likely to add one more interior offensive lineman to their Class of 2021.
Florida 3-star lineman Kyjuan Phillips (6’4″, 285) was one of the handful of players the Pitt staff has been speaking with but he’s no longer an option after making a commitment today to Colorado State.

Pitt was Phillips only offer from a Power 5 program and we believe the offer was committable so this decision comes as somewhat of a surprise. Phillips other offers included East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Kent State, Liberty, Middle Tennessee State and Eastern Kentucky.
Just a couple weeks ago, Phillips seemed like a heavy lean towards Pitt but that commitment to the Panthers never happened. Following his decision to join Steve Addazio’s program at Colorado State, Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke to Phillips and asked what happened with Pitt and did something change over the last couple of weeks?
