**Jeff Capel and Pitt extend an offer tonight to 2021 4-star wing  Casey Simmons (6’5”, 175) from Milton Academy in Milton, Massachusetts. 247 Sports rates Simmons as a Top 100 junior with offers from Boston College, Miami, Georgetown, Northwestern, Penn State, Rhode Island, Richmond and Texas.

UPDATE (8:20 PM)-

Sources: The NCAA will vote next week on whether or not men's basketball coaches will have access to work their players out during the month of July.

Most academic calendars will officially begin in early to mid August.

Most programs have not had access to players since March.
