It’s all dependent on if we have a 2020 college football season, but nevertheless Robert Morris has just scheduled a pretty attractive road game.
It’s been announced that RMU has signed a deal to play a non-conference game at Hawaii. The game is scheduled to take place on September 26 and will be the first meeting between the two programs.
The Colonials, who will begin as members of the Big South in 2021, will play this season as an independent. Aside from eight previously scheduled NEC games, Robert Morris is also scheduled to play VMI (September 5), Bowling Green (September 12) and Dayton (September 19).
This game became necessary for Hawaii after all four of their previously scheduled non-conference games were canceled because of the coronavirus outbreak. The Rainbows were scheduled to play Fordham, Arizona, UCLA and Oregon.
This is the start of Robert Morris scheduling up and playing D-I opponents over the next few seasons.
