Andy Toole has announced that Vince Johnson has been added to his Robert Morris staff as an assistant coach.

Johnson has spent the past season as camp director with the Hoop Group and strong recruiting ties, especially in the Northeast. Prior to his work at Hoop Group, Johnson was the head coach at Pope John XXII High School in Sparta, New Jersey for three seasons.

Prior to his position at Pope John High School, Johnson served as director of basketball operations at Lehigh University during the 2014-15 season.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome Vince to RMU,” said Toole. “I was impressed with his vision and energy and believe he will make a seamless transition in joining our staff. Vince has an extensive background in the Northeast, and we feel he’ll help us in recruiting that area as well as help make our current student-athletes better players.”

Johnson is a native of Harlem, New York and a 2010 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas in Sparkill, New York.
